Testo
New Professional Class - The reference measuring instrumentstesto 400 is the multi-function
instrument designed to simplify the measuring tasks of
professionals and tradesmen.
The testo 400 measures and records:
° Temperature with accuracies to <0.1 °C/°F. Probes have calibration for adjustment capabilities.
° Humidity/Dew point, complete Mollier diagram values.
° CO and CO2 with ambient levels
° Pressure, differential pressure and also absolute pressure
° Velocity measurements using thermal, vane and pitot tube probes.
° It also calculates volumne flow, max, min and values mention of ASHRAE Speck's
° The mV/mA measurement input easily checks transducers outputs.
° Logs data with date, time and location over long time periods using the logger function in the measuring instrument.
Equipped for the future
The following functions are upgradable (available in mid 1998):
° The measuring instrument guides
you through volume flow calculations and calculates, for example, immerson
depths,
number of measuring points etc.
° Calculates measuring inaccuracies on location
Description
testo 400,
The precision multifunction instrument
and datalogger measures temperature, CO, CO2, rpm, mV
and mA, % RH, pressure and velocity.
Highest precision due to system
calibration (measuring instrument + probe)
Calibration data is saved in the
probe.
Calculates all of the physical humidity
parameters in the Mollier diagram:
- relativ humidity (% RH)
- dew point, pressure dew point
(tp, tdp)
- absolute humidity (g/m3)
- humidity levels (g/kg pressure-compensated)
- humidity, wet temperature °C
and °F
- water vapour partial pressure
in mbar/hPa
- Enthalpy kcal/kg
Humidity probes for every application, from remaining humidity to high humidity levels
Indent guaranteed long-term stability
Highest accuarcy ± 1 %
All of the conventional types of averaging are available
Volume flow measurement (cfm, m3/min, l/s)
Duct dimensions in the various measurement
locations can be saved in the instrument. When the measurement
location is called up the saved
dimensions can be used to measure cfm.
Measures the barometric pressure (absolute pressure) as a reference value or for the correct Pitot tube measurement.
Measures turbulence levels.
